Hey all,

I've got to give a heresy warning, but I changed out the grips on Dad's old Victory model. Keeping the originals and lanyard ring, of course! But, Uncle Arthur has come to visit on my right thumb carpal/metacarpal joint and I wanted a little more stability when shooting. Got a Hogue Monogrip and I think it looks nice. But, the point for me is near-pain free shooting. I really love this gun!

Shooting should be fun not endurance so what ever makes it more enjoyable go for it. Just keep the original grips where they can be located in the future.

I'm definitely keeping the original grips. Got them in a plastic bag and will be putting some tung oil on them to make them purtier. 😁

I wouldn't keep them in a plastic bag because I'm concerned about trapping moisture. I would just leave them in my safe in the open.

Good choice I think. My kid's got those grips on an old model 19, they feel and work marvelous.
