Well, after months of research and kicking the tires on a bunch of 1911s I finally did the deed. I had to order it up, but here is a sneak peek.

Cush, you're not alone. Last week I bought a Kimber Custom II NIB and today I bought your Colt's brother! It's a Government Model XSE, serial number ends with an "E" (extra or something like that, I don't remember). All the "custom" add-ons are stock! Now if I could just find a few value packs of WWB... :D

Nice one Cush!!

Here is my first that I bought in 1996.

Its had a lot of customizing done and a second officers slide built and fitted to it.
You will have a great time with yours!

Well, okay, I guess it's alright. I mean, aside from the fact that some one took a milling machine and cut some extra grooves on the front of the slide. And dropped it, bending the grip safety. And drilled holes in the trigger. And took a pair of pliers and stretched the thumb safety. And buffed all the blue off of it. And poked a hole in the hammer. And installed non-standard grip screws and sights. Other than that, it's a pretty cool gun. :D ;)

You wouldn't happen to have another one you might want to sell, would ya?
