I like Altamonts but they're always out of the S&W grips I want. I've got them on a Ruger Single Six and a 1911.

These are the ones I want for my 1926 3rd model but they've been temporarily unavailable forever. I could get them off ebay for 20.00 more but not doing that. I do loves me some Roper grips tho. I had an original set on a Colt once.

If it were me, twenty bucks would not keep me from a set of grips. They may never make them again, then what will you do?

I may break down and get them. I keep checking the site now and then. If they say discontinued then I'll get a set off ebay or I'll just keep the originals on it. They're not bad.
