Does anyone know of any ammunition manufacturing company using the Acme “Lipstick” coated bullet??? I guess it’s call the “lipstick” bullet because the coating’s red. Thx . . .

I have used polymer coated bullets, but discontinued reloading them because of the fouling they caused in my dies. I find FMJ a better alternative, and have been sticking to that for pistol straight wall ammunition that headspaces on the mouth.

How bad was the fouling? What type of problems did it cause? I have a bunch of Acme coated bullets to load and would like to know what signs to look for.
Thanks for any help you can give.
