Gizamo, if you're looking for a nice engraved rifle, there is a pre-64 Winchester done by Shellhamer on Cherry's website. Of course it is not a .222. It's a little larger, .375 H&H.

Thanks for the heads up...

But I managed to bust up my shoulder about 3 years ago. So the larger smokeless powders are out of the question these days. My pain threshold is about a 30-06 and a 12 gauge shotgun. One of the reasons that I got into black powder was the forgiveness in recoil in even the largest calibers...
