It was a nice 70 degree day and we have not had the rifles out all year, so today was the day. Curt brought his M&P Sport II and 15-12. I brought my M&P Sport and my Mini-14. Our friend Tim was in town and happened to have his nice Ruger 10-22 along

Our goal was to verify the sights were on, and they were. We had an 8” AR500 steel plate at the top of the shale pit about 70 yards from the shooting position. This is Tim & I retrieving it

Had a good time and spent about 2 and a half hours at the shale pit, and ran about 260 rounds of .223. Here is a closing shot of the range from the shooting location

Really like your shale pit and looks like the rifles and the shooters enjoyed the "exercise". Congrats. Still hot and humid here. Have to go indoor as I think the rifles would even sweat in this weather.

Was great getting some long gun time at the range. We were pleasantly surprised by how well we shot the rifles since it has been a while. Wanted to make sure everything was sighted in and that everything functioned well and we were not disappointed. Good times by all!
