Congrats on a nice addition to your collection. Hopefully you'll get some range time soon.

According to S&W, it weighs in at 37.4 ounces, exactly the same as my 3 inch 686 plus. I shoot it with wood grips all the time, including today and it isnt too bad at all as far as recoil
I actually like my R8 even better, It is my go to range revolver. Super accurate!
Have the aluminum case with it.

Very nice weapon.

I have the 4" 627 Pro. I still remember the first shot from it several years ago. Dead center....exactly where I aimed!

Earlier this year I was looking at the 2.5 inch model and lusting over it. I wanted another 8 shot 357.

Came across the Model 327 and looked into that model. I was able to find a used one and bought it sight unseen and ordered it from a place in Boise, Idaho. I am in NC.

I really enjoy the 2" snubby.

I have carried both at the same time.

Yes I needed another 8 shot....lol!
