Daughter just bought a new gun.

Just got a call from the oldest daughter on her way to the gun store. She was looking for a big bore revolver. I guess it doesn't get much better than a .45. She was pretty excited and face timed me from the store to get my opinion of the gun. I gave her an instant seal of approval. I guess I better go load some more .45ACP and ship it out to her.

Hey Mark,

First. Is that the sweet little girl what shoots that ole .44 Special of yours .............so well?

Second. What a GREAT REVOLVER!

Wish her a Happy New Year from us!

I use a 230LRN over 3.5 or 3.6gr of CLAYS with a Fed 150 for practice. 700fps? (the lightest recoiling load I could develop, that permits quick loading w/moon clips)

Same POI as 230gr COR BON'S! LOL

Give George (Revolver Supply) my regards when you order the Young Lady up a passel of FULL MOON CLIPS & Tools to load/unload.

Really Glad for you!

Later, Mark

Winna winna chicken dinna! If I didn't have a 325NG and a 325PD I'd have bought a TR...still might! Im a sucker for those McGivern front sites.

Yes the gold bead is just the greatest front sight. Yes this is the same daughter that likes to shoot my .44s. I just happen to have 500 Black Cherry bullets and a few pounds of clays so I'll be loading those up. I'll let her order up the moon clips and I'm sure she will.

"I'll let her order up the moon clips" Get her a 10 pack of EZ moons..she will love them!
Congratulations! I have one of those and I love it!

If she doesn't like the moon clips, you can always load her up some 45 auto rim ammo. That's what I'm doing. I never have much cared for the moon clips.
I use moon clips from Ranch Products. The have the best prices, direct from the factory, no middleman. Loading and unloading tools are easily made. Tubing cut on the end works easily for unloading. Water pump pliers will squeeze two loaded cartridges at a time into the clips without damage.

Fine looking big bore Smith!
So the "care" package arrived yesterday at my daughters to help with the feeding of her new gun......and her AR........and her Sig .22. She called me so excited that she had trouble talking. Who said diamonds are a girls best friend?
