Just put new gas block on my M&p 15 sport 2 went to the range to shoot and would should one round but not cycle the next one. New to ar’s not sure what I could of done wrong please give feedback

Sounds like a gas port alignment problem if it worked before you changed the block. Also make sure that the hole in your gas tube faces down

Adding to what Toddlars1 said, also make sure the gas block is secured well. Recoil will drive it forward causing it to become misaligned with the gas port.
