Crack in frame of M&P 9 Shield Plus

Send it in for warranty repair. I don't own anything in 9MM and have not had any issues with my new Shield M2.0 yet. It's chambered in 40 S&W.

I have a M&P 9 Sheild and have had no problems with it. I would send it back for repairs too.

Any update on your pistol?

I have not heard anything. I think I will call sometime this week and ask for information. I did speak to a man from a gun shop and shooting range near by and told him what had happened. He said he was familiar with someone who also had a crack in the frame -- sent it in and was given a new weapon. That is encouraging.

Not personally, but one of the LGS employees I sometimes talk to has seen some frames with hairline cracks that were returned. Can't guarantee it was the same model though, or what ammo was used.

After a month S & W informed me that they will replace my M&P with a cracked frame. They will replace it with a M&P shield plus 13534. Good news
