Here are some new old stock Ks I found at a show. The grips are great but I thought the box was really cool.

Those grips are the real deal. Exactly the deal Smith and Wesson
aficionados would like to have. It makes me wonder, with S&W making
the classic revolvers, why they don't make and sell the classic grips.

Wow, you have to love the old stuff. Every once in a while I love it when someone calls me and tells me that they found something gun related and they want me to take a look at it.

Fugotti, your comment about being a collector brought home that I too
enjoy old stuff, therefore I must be a collector of sorts.

Looking at those pristine grips makes me feel that I have never been to a really decent show where such can be found - Congrats on a splendid
find.

Not intending a hi-jack, but those grips look the same as on this 1954
Highway Patrolman,
course there not pristine, but do they look the same?

Hello Matt
Looking back at these Grips, I Noticed according to the Postal meter stamp, that they shipped late October 1960. K-Square Target grips came out in 1952 and I find it Interesting that the factory still had Non Relieved Target grips for the K-Sq. Frame 8 Years after they were released. It makes one wonder if they were special ordered doesn't it ? Regards, Hammerdown
