Just picked up my dream Smith- a 629-4 classic dx! shoots like a dream! I was looking for recommendations on what and how to clean the stainless, as this is the first stainless gun i own. It is in beautiful shape and i intend to keep it that way so any info would be great. Thanks in advance- wrightway

I use Birchwood-Casey Lead cleaning cloth to keep the cylinder face and backstrap spotless from the lead and powder flash thru the cylinder gap.
Good ol' Hoppe's #9 for the barrel. CLP if it's stubborn.
You can use the lead cloth for a bore wipe if you have lead deposits, just cut a std. swab sized piece, and run it thru the barrel with your cleaning tip or jags of a smaller caliber to get it to push thru. Let the solvent from the lead cloth soak in the barrel for 1/2 hr or so, and then clean as always. Light oil and you should be a happy camper in short time.
You can Polish if you desire with just about any high quality silver polish. The less abrasive the better. Personally I don't like using the abrasive cleaners on my Stainless revolvers.

Good luck and enjoy
