Some guns where ahead of their time in my opinion.

Hunter I can remember back when guys would put them in a rack in the pickup. The hot sun would warp them. If I remember correctly the factory sent out a directive about this problem.

That is a good looking example. I have noticed the price of them going up in recent years. Alot of people {me too} share your appreciation of the Nylon 66

Mine was Mohawk Brown. My dad bought it for me for Christmas when I was on the rifle team in high school.
I could shoot it better than my Mossberg 144LS target rifle.
Of course,that was back when I could actually see the target at 50 feet. Kinda blurry now. Wish I still had it.

I had one of those back in the late '70's.l I could never warm up to the black plastic stock and the sheet metal receiver. I got rid of it and bought a Ruger 10/22 with the birch stock. I should have gotten the walnut stock.........oh well. :roll: Still love to shoot the 10/22. ;) Bob
