Not your usual offering here I realize, kind of having fun with the idea. Bear with me ..

My 4 year old AKC chocolate Lab Jackie is having pups on May 3. Jack is an exceptional dog. Lives to hunt birds (ducks, pheasant, chukar, and quail) and to be with her person. Very friendly, extremely easy to train, loves kids, and has been an excellent guard dog for the house. Her pedigree is filled with titles of Field Champion, Master Hunter, Junior Hunter, Senior Hunter, Companion Dog, Working Certificate, Best of Breed, as well as National Field Champion and other titles.
I had Jackie mated to a great dog named Merganser's Ferris Bueller MH, WC. You can read about him here:
http://www.duckdog.com/mergansers_ferris_bueller.htm
13 of 14 dogs in his 3 generation pedigree carry the title of Field Champion.
I think it would be very difficult to find pups of better hunting lines.

In any case I am going to sell the pups for $800 each. Full guarantees, wormed, first shots, dew claws removed, exposed to quail, duck, and pheasant wings, gone through Early Neurological Stimulation, exposed to water, crate trained, etc. The works.

BUT I got to thinking it would be fun to offer a few pups to members of this forum for trade. I DO like my revolvers..
So here are a few pics of Jackie Brown and one or 2 of the Sire in this mating Ferris Bueller. If you are interested in a trade feel free to email me. I have a web page I can forward to you with pedigree info, more pics, etc.

I know nothing of pedigrees. But will vouch for Jackie being a friendly and lovely dog. Her ears definitely perk up when Dan teased her and asked if she wanted to go duck hunting.

GREAT credentials on both sides of this litter.
Plus, anything named 'Ferris Bueller' has to be a fantastic animal!

Where are you located, Dan?? Willamette valley runs a long way North and South and I'm right in the middle. May be in the market for a pup. But don't try to pry any Smiths out of me

Thanks Charlie. Though she looks as though she swallowed a basketball these days! ~2.5 weeks to go.

Congrats Dan.

I talked to my parents about one but they are bent on Siberian Huskeys...

Thanks Chris,
Well I plan on the same pairing in 6 months or so. Will be another batch of chocolates coming up!
