This one is a Stainless II and is a basic carry gun. I've done the Grand Raptor and a few others and wasn't impressed. To tight and that means failures to feed problems. Got rid of them..as they were not dependable on the steel plate course. Out of battery to often...

That said, I'll give this one a go and hope she runs fine. The slide is looser then on my other Kimbers and that is a good sign. If I get a ftf I'll lap the rails...I want this one to work so I'm willing to work on it..

My handgun addictions are N frames and 1911's.
I'm going to withhold posting pics here, it would hijack the thread.
Let's just say I've found that you can't own just one of any of them. (or 2, or 3, or 4, or.............) :)

Thanks.

This is one of 300 from Talo, it's a Gold Cup series 80 and yes I installed the ugly trigger. A new proper trigger will be installed soon.

This gun is one of the best examples of Colt craftmanship I've seen since the old 1957-1970 Gold Cup National Match guns.

Damn,

Why couldn't Joni have been the girl next door when I was younger?

Great pics Joni. How about dropping down a couple of sections and showing us some of those sixguns of yours!!!
