Two eggs fried in bacon grease over medium, lots of fresh ground black pepper with a half can of "Ranch Style Beans" and a few shakes of Dat'l Do-It Devil Drops. :p

This morning I fried up a brick of liver pudding and made a pot of grits, then poured the grits on top of the liver pudding and stirred it all up. Cracked 3 eggs over the top of all of it and stirred it up some more. DELICIOUS! And... served on fine china as always. :p

Speaking of liver pudding, are there any other fans of scrapple, head cheese or souse out there?
Always thought we Deutchers knew good uses for the so-called 'undesirable' cuts of meat!

I love scrapple. Around here it's sold as "country scrapple" for whatever reason. I've tried souse (which from my understanding is about the same thing as head cheese) on two different occasions. I can eat it and would eat it before I'd starve but it's just not for me. Something about that jell and the vinegar flavor just doesn't do it for me. :ymsick:

My wife and I are having a pound of peppered bacon, a chub of sausage fried up and put into omelettes with all kinds of cheese, green chile, and some leftover cochinita pibil . . .

Low carb, don't you know.

No, happily married. :D My wife usually only has coffee for breakfast maybe with a muffin or granola bar. I usually get up 2-3 hours before she does and always wake up hungry. But on weekdays I normally only have coffee and V8 juice for breakfast. I like to heat up a couple of cans (11 oz total) of V8 juice in the microwave to boiling and add some hot sauce to it and sip it like it's soup. That gets me by until lunch. But on the weekends... watch out. [-x

I was raised on liver pudding. Something I can't get any of here in Ok. Used to take it and bake it on toast, or have it fried up with eggs. Brains and eggs is right up there too, along with biscuts butter and sorgum syrup.
