I like the top breaks and I frames but never acquired a J frame. Finally rescued one from gun broker. Gunsmith special double action only! Little corrosion on frame that needs attention. Ditched the rubber and found some Altamonte to fit. Serial #811xxx so from the 80's.

Hard to tell from the images, slightly blurry, but a Model 36 nickel plated? Or a Model 60? Either way, nice save. I like double action only revolvers. I find them much more accurate to shoot.

Nickel plate I have my dad's photographic talent he usually cut heads off I only get part of gun. Photos taken with my tablet.

I'm thinking yours is nickel plated because of the hammer and trigger are case colored. I think the model 60 has a stainless trigger and hammer.
