Bob's has been take out only ever since it opened. It's a tiny place...has an area about 10'x12' for ordering, and the rest of the building is taken up by the kitchen and freezers. It's a working class place to eat for ordinary folks.

Bob's serves food that's bad for you. That's the only way to put it. Funny thing is, you know it's bad for you when you're eating it, but it tastes so good you almost pass out from pleasure. It's called Pile 'Em Up Bob's because of the amount of food piled up on your paper plate. You won't see servings that size in your fancy dancy eatin' places. You need a whole bunch of napkins, too, when you're eating at Bob's.

Sittin' outside in the bed of the truck while you're eating...warm sunshine...maybe a nice breeze. No particular place to go, and if there was, you wouldn't be in a hurry to get there. Doesn't get much better than that.

We have a LOT of roadside food vendors that set up their trailer, start the smoker and around lunch time you can go get a styrofoam clamshell piled high with a "mess of ribs" (that's the large order), or get some monstrosity of pulled pork.............and then there are the guys with their turkey fryers selling boiled peanuts everywhere. These little hole-in-the-wall places like yours and these make some of the best stuff going because the guy whose name is on the front is also the guy who is in the back cooking and working hard
