Leighton how many years have you been collecting, and where did you buy most of your blades-gun shows, catalogues, or friends?
I've got a couple of blades like yours.

About 20yrs maybe a little longer. What your seeing is only about 1/3rd of what I have. Just haven't gotten around to taking any pic's of the rest. I shop just about everywhere for blades. Almost all of my Puma's I picked up while stationed in Germany.

National Security Volunteer Militia (MVSN), The Blackshirts who worked for El Duche. It would seem to be one of there ceramonial daggers, much like the ones members of the Nazi party wore when in full dress. Or due to the way it looks a more plain-jane version that would have been worn for regular duty. These guys were basicly the same as the Nazi SS. I hope that helps on IDing her. Thats really in nice condition for its age, and its background.

Leighton,
Thank you very much! I've been asking the same question for several years with no answer. I really appreciate the help!!

Did not mean to steal any thunder from your beautiful blade pictorial!

Hi Leighton;

Your collection is like a museum! There is something for everyone there.

The only semi-collectible knives I have are these two Fairbairn-Sykes knives from World War II. A second pattern with the knurled brass handle and a third pattern with the ribbed handle. Have tried to obtain a first pattern but those have become so expensive.

Shown with a Webley Mark IV .38/200
