Bill Goforth's book Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works Firearms 1871-1993

Does anyone have this book?

I'm trying to identify the year of manufacture of a Iver Johnson Mod 68 Target Sealed 8 with the serial number M66366.

It was manufactured between 1947-1954.

Is it marked two different models? I'm going to assume that you have a model 66 Trailsman. The P indicates it to be chambered for 38 S&W. Date of manufacture isn't listed in Goforth's book but it is most likely 1962. What's marked on the left side of the barrel lug?
