Re: Anyone else like the little .22 WRF?...Pic.

I had one of the first Model 48s to come down the pike and then added a 22 LR cylinder. It worked well for me with 22 LR cylinder but I did not use the 22 MRF cylinder. At the time 22 MRF cost 3 times more than 22 LR and is about 1/3 more power. When I finally got an honest K-22 22 LR, I did not think I needed to keep model 48 when I thinned out my collection. I got more for the Model 48 with both cylinders than I could for my pre 17 K-22 Masterpiece.

Here is one shown before I still have. It has both cylinders and a nice leather holster. Works fine, long as I keep the rear of the cylinder clean after every dozen or so shots. :)

ladder13 it looks like yours is 650 3 1/2".
I've got 3" 60 that looks almost like it.
I gotta have one, so I'll start the quest. :)

Very nice.Ammo is pricey for them so I just dont shoot mine as often. In the mean time its just sitting back getting worth more money along with my other guns. If you get enough guns you can only shoot so many at a time any way and it isnt that pricey to shoot one occasionaly. If it was your only one I could see how it would get exspensive in a hurry.

I like the 22 mag a lot. My 651 is one of my working guns. I run a kennel and train bird dogs. That means I have a lot of birds in pens around the farm. I'm always fighting varmints. Last summer I had a real run on ***** that were determined to get into the pens. They ruined one. I've found the additional power from the mag cartridge in well worth the price for me. The 651 has been in my truck for around 15 years now and I find it the perfect truck--varmint gun
