Plan to ride my bike soon and dogs are a threat. Which is best: fogger (cone) or stream to stop a dog attack?

A bat across the top of the nose. If you are riding, you will need to consider the breeze as you are riding so you do not spray yourself?

Am aware of the issues of wind drift. That's why I want an officer's opinion concerning fogger vs. stream for the smaller and faster moving target of a dog's face.

Fogger is a shotgun and stream is a pistol. Shooting and moving go with a fogger.

I use wasp spray. Large can, cheap, shoots a long ways.

Also plan to get an air horn. Saw a cycling video where the loud blast seemed to intimidate most chasing dogs.

Glad you are going with the fogger. We don't have that option, but it would be nice since dogs are fast and a fogger allows you to take advantage of their speed by having them run directly into a cloud of OC.

Not an option for civilians, but overseas we found that flash bangs worked great on vicious dog attacks.

Still haven't gone biking but did order a Fox Labs "riot sized" fogger unit along with Mean Green (green dye) OC in fogger spray.
