Well, acquired funds for another gun.....I want another M1.. I Have two now and yep want another one. Like to drive up to CMP at Camp Perry when they open back up and get one off the CMP. A friend got a beautiful 308 M1 up ther a couple years age ....Will have to be patient but will be worth it.....

I have one, and at age 71 and on Social Insecurity, that's probably all I'll ever have.

The dilemma. I can get another M1 from CMP (by ordering and being put on the wait list as they are good about committing to orders). Is it the best weapon to pass on to the kids versus a more modern weapon?

You can't have too many M-1's. I have one and it is a real joy. CMP purchase in 2001. 1943 date.
