Hello everyone! I've recently bought a new s&w 60-15. My question to all of you is. I'm in my 60s with arthritic hands I'm knot gonna fire 357s in it but can you recommend a 38 load for personal defense.
With ya on .357's. in a 60. My choice .38 HPLWC. The old FBI load. At 75, If trained, believe muscle memory will override arthritic hands in a defensive situation lasting matter of seconds unless it's dibilitating. Good luck
I use Winchester 125 Gr. JHP .38 Spl.+P in both my M-36 and M-10-7 2". It's on the hot side, but my arthritic hands can take it, once in awhile. For self defense, when somebody wants to kill you, I use the most effective ammo that I can handle! I don't use .357 Mag for anything. Both too strong and too loud!!!! Bob
the 158 gr lead semi-wadcutter hollow point (the old FBI load)
made by both Winchester, Remington & Federal, I posted all three catalog numbers below for each manufacturer
