I checked the muzzle velocity of Norma .380 vs. Blazer Brass and the Norma is slightly faster. Sometimes the slight difference in the shape of a bullet or the speed can make a particular gun malfunction if you are doing everything else right.

I've had a couple guns that absolutely will not work with one specific brand of ammo even when my other guns of the same caliber eat it like candy.

Try different brands!

Three things: Ammo and it's length or bullet profile or power. Try different ammo.User grip being too lose or thumbs rubbing the slide. Have someone else try it. The magazine spring or follower. Try different mag or dismantle and clean mag.
