After 6 long months, the suppressor I bought back in June is finally mine. It resides in the safe for now, and I can't wait to find some time to get out and shoot it. And it came to me in this really cool case. This makes my 3rd suppressor so far, with at least one, and possibly another after the 4th is set free from Purgatory. My estimate is I should have the last one by Mid February. A good friend of mine manufacturers them, and this is a production sample, so my boss can evaluate it, and hopefully add it to the stores sales inventory. the 4th is manufactured and designed for the .223/5.56 AR-15's. I can't wait to get that one to the shooting range soon.

Fram oil filter works too. Just don't get caught with an 'orange can' on the muzzle.....

You know me well enough to know I machined adapters to fit my threaded barrels....

Way it's going, Plugs will declare them illegal too (not oil filters, mufflers)....lol

Lets see, $1.99 for a Fram Extra Guard and a couple hundred plus for a muffler.

I'm cheap.....

I will say it comes in a nice case. My Farm came in a cardboard box................

I'm not well informed about what is needed to buy a suppressor. Do you need to get a "permission slip" to buy one???? I would think that they are or will be illegal in the coming year. I haven't got an Assault Rifle, because I always believed they will be banned, eventually.

I have got 5 boxes of .30-30 for my Winchester 94. It's the only centerfire that I kept, and a Savage MK I .22LR. I got rid of all my sporterized military rifles (mostly in .30-06), a .30-40 Krag, and a couple of Jap WW II rifles. I've also kept most of my handguns, both newer Rugers semi-autos and older S&W revolvers. Bob

Always been my opinion as well and I can see supressors (aka: mufflers) being banned as well.

Daryl, While I do believe that assault rifles should NOT be banned, I have no need for one, nor do I want one. Every type of gun falls under the Constitution's 2nd.Ammend.....if the military uses it, so should law abiding citizens in this free country. (So far)

The Dems. want to prevent us from having the weapons to protect our country from tyrranny....because it is their intention to institute a change to Socialism. THIS IS THE TYRANNY, that we must prevent! They want to make us unable to mount any resistance to their plans!!!!!

Suppressors have nothing to do with the military. They're used every day around the world as common sense and neighborly nois4e suppression, and for tremendous hearing protection from the loud report of an unsuppressed shot. They're certainly not "Silencers", they just bring the noise down to a non-dangerous level for your hearing. In parts of Europe it's considered rude to shoot without some form of sound suppression. I'm just doing my part to keep the noise down.
