These are turning up all over the place so I picked out this one from our local pusher.

It times up fast and tight. With some good reloads it should be a great summer property walking gun.
I have 75 rounds through it allready and am happy with the accuracy.

Re: A rough and tumble M&P stainless...M64

Chris, two Smiths in two weeks? What has gotten into you? ;)

There has been a 4" 65-1 hanging around at my local pusher's for a year or more. I really should just go get it!

Cush, yes you should!
They actually handle very well. I'm going to turn this one into a round butt. Drew sent me some plans.

I have the perfect set of grips to put on it too!

Nice 64, congrats!

I have a 3" 64-3. Great shooter and carry revolver. I wonder where all the 64's I'm seeing on the net came from? Regards 18DAI.

Perfect gun for falling plates or the 2009 Red Neck Shoot....

Well Done Chris!

Now load up a 1,000 rounds of 5.5 grns of Unique under a 158 grns SWC and enjoy!

You'll be back into revolvers in no time....

I should have had a camera up with me, your right. Drew sent me a very good step by stet instruction. If he doesn't mind I'll post it.

Go ahead Chris!

Just be advised that you only cut the backstrap for your modified targets.... one would have to cut both the front and backstraps for a pair of magnas or pachmyers...

Good luck all! If you get jammed up, drop me a line and I'll do what I can to help out....

Go slow and then take your time.... ;)

Very nice. Now I know what to do to the 64 I've been puttering with. I'd thought of rounding the butt and you have just given me the final push I needed.
