Well, with March commin' to a close I have to say it was a good month for magnums for ol' GF.

I found a 4 inch nickel 29-2 and a 8 & 3/8th one with all the candy, even the cardboard shipping box.
That was the first week of the month.
I thought I was pretty blessed on that deal until a blued 29-2, 6 &1/2 inch with presentation box and cleaning kit/paperwork showed up last week. I had room for it too! :lol:

It even gets better. The 8 & 3/8th gun came with a set of combats that I just had to put on it. The original buyer said he thought it cost him an extra $25 for them when he bought the gun.

What do you think, maybe some 629's in April!?!

I love those smooth targets on the 4", but I'd have to try out the combats on that one!

IMHO, the M-27-2 and M-29-2 show a high probability for even greater appreciation.
Always smart to get the ancillary stuff like shippers, etc., too.

I don't know GF's honey holes but I do know he lives in prime hunting ground. Everybody knows him and everybody likes him. He does the good ol boy aw shucks thing better than most because, in his case, it's no act it's a way of life.

I do think the bright yellow "cash for handguns" signs he has posted near every southern Indiana divorce court, bail bondsman and crack house is a bit much. nfiofnp

I found the ammo too, and gave WAY less than it's worth
