I used to have this version in a 610, sold it and kicked myself ever since. A friend of mine had this and never shot it. I rescued her from her deprived, neglected life. I even kept the scope mount and scoped holster from my 610 that she will now have.

Congrats! Beautiful revolver. Firing pin where it belongs as well.

HA HA!!! Isn't that the truth!! Every time I see a photo spread of an S&W with only the right/starboard side shown, I just KNOW its got the Schlage key lock hole in the other side!! :lol: Then, one can always tell the cast metal/MIM parts by the lack of the tiny hole in the hammer that holds the firing pin...which is WHERE it should be!! ;)

(OK sorry, I'm on a rant against MIM/lock revolvers this morning...I know some don't mind them, but I'll go on record here as NOT LIKING THEM ONE BIT!!!)
