Yeah, Jonesy has those tables memorized...1983. By the way, the M stamp between the serial number and model number indicates your gun was modified by S&W to correct a hammer nose blowback problem the first L frames had with a particular manufacture's .357 magnum cartridges. Those cartridges have subsequently been removed from production making the mod moot. But, now you'll know if someone asks...
