Hi
Well how about a rare 5 inch Target Triple Lock.
Shipped 6/26/1912 to A.L.Bowher as a special order.
Letter listed it as being a 5 Inch Target with Target sights
and Gold Medialion Grips. There was not a Address as to where it was shipped. My guess is it was somebody inside the factory as there are
very few of these 5 inch targets than have been documented as
orginal from the factory, also it is a low number 4 digits and a later shipment.
hope you enjoy the pictures.

hi
boxes for triple locks are very rare, how many boxes have you seen in the last 2 years. Ebay has had none and i have not seen one for sale.

I have two boxes for all my triple locks. I have 15 triple locks.

One box is for a 6 1/2 blue the other is a very rare box it is for a
4 inch nickel gun. The boxes from 1908 thru around 1930 were not
marked as fixed sight guns or target the same boxes were used for both. When the 1926 came out after some time in the 30,s they
started marking the boxes as miltary models which were the fixed sight guns. I have one box marked this way.

I hope this information is usefull

No job for me I am very busy. Jim you have the best guns and boxes I have ever had the pleasure to view. I have never seen one for sale on ebay. Boxes are always a special ingredient for the mix of a great package. :D
