I ran across this older 44 a couple of weeks ago. Close your eyes *****. It's a older Taurus, model 431. It's got a 3in barrel and its a 5 shooter. The # is LE 6202xx. If some one has a date help me out.
After a trip to range I was really pleased with how the old gun shot and functioned. Here is the 431 and a pic of the three in. and my 2 1/2 mod 15-2 Dan Wesson. Very close in size and weight.

Those Taurus 431, and the Rossi version (I forget the number) are good guns. I had one a couple of years ago, but sold it to get something else I don't remember. The 432 is the adjustable sight version. :)

I haven't seen another on lately so I had to settle for this old thing...which must have cost about twice as much.
