Hi everyone,
I trying to find a bushing wrench for my 39-2, but no luck.
I tried the Internet and the closest thing I found was for
the Model 52. I don't know if any are interchangeable or
not. Suggestions? Thanx for any help.

I have never heard of a bushing wrench for a first gen pistol.
I have had a Model 59 for forty plus years and I have never needed any type of wrench for disassembly.
I'm sure there will be professionals to give their advice soon.

Then maybe I don't need one. I only got this thing a couple days ago
and just assumed I need one cuz I had a Gold Cup once and it had
one. Maybe I should've done a little homework first. D'OH!

You don't need one... the take down is different from the Gold Cup.

Remove slide, then remove recoil spring guide rod and spring, and then you can easily turn the barrel bushing by hand to remove it, and then the barrel.

Here's a video (not mine) for a 39-2:

Thanx to everyone for the help on this. I've shot it a few times and now it needs a cleaning.
