The HST is like a hollow point wadcutter on steroids and when you shoot one, you wouldn't believe it is a Plus P from the mild recoil. It's built to expand at expected snubbie velocities too

I think I need to find some of this stuff...dagnabbit, seems that it has been discontinued.

It was a brand new product 3 or 4 years ago. Federal lists it as currently unavailable, but say nothing about discontinuing it

MidwayUSA lists it as discontinued, I saw Federal just listed it as unavailable. Guess I'll stick with my Critical Defense.

I do reload - the bigger Smith seemed to like a 140gr SWC powder coated better...but too many people on the line to do any serious accuracy work.
