THIS GUN WAS SHIPPED ALONG WITH 9 OTHERS TO PUEBLO COLORADO PD ON 11 MARCH 1963. IT IS A 4" BLUE, 4 SCREW GUN.
THERE ARE 2 OTHER KNOWN SURVIVORS FROM THIS SHIPMENT.
ENJOY!

Bill, your killing me here :)

All kidding aside, another great gun. I know the effort you've put forth in building a premier collection of these handguns. Also the effort you've made in trying to establish a database by S.N....

Would you care to share any of the information that you've been able to glean from that database. For example, your thoughts on what would be the rare or scarcer variants and if they match up with the common knowledge. Or are there some guns that we as collectors should be made more aware of? I would have to consider you in the very top tier of folks that understand the 38/44's. I hope you would impart some of the more arcane things you've come to learn with our members...Pretty Please :D

Bill,

I tried, Ruger won't make any of their big guns with the lowly old 38. That was only for the old time S&W's.... :p
