I know this might seem a hijack, and I apologize. Its not the intention. This is a a perfectly good thread to post my question in, regarding 180 grain 357 max loads.
I have recently purchased a used Contender in this caliber. I have some Dan Wesson brand ammo, 180 grain HP bullets. The 2nd shot I fired, the primer backed out and caused quite a headache in getting the action to open up again, I had to actually strike a padded surface moderately with the gun to force it open (advice given by a 'Smith).
So I am looking for knowledge on primers backing out in this caliber, or this ammo, etc. I am not thinking I want to use this brass for reloading if this is the "quality", not even sure I want to fire the rest of it off seeing how this was the 2nd round fired out of 60 I have.
