My Dad left me his .357 Combat Magnum model 19-3 (blue) with a 4" barrel. Is there a way to learn its manufacture date from the serial # 7k68xx ? I have the original box and it's in great shape. I am not interested in selling though. Thanks, appreciate any help I can get.

Welcome to The Forum from the Wiregrass! Give us the number in the spec Ord box on the label and we can give you the exact date it was made.

Welcome to the forum. Any pics of the revolver you describe? We'd love to see it and it would help answer any other questions you may have.

Welcome to the forum, Madmike. I still have the 4" blued M19 I picked up in 1973 and love it. You will enjoy that fine revolver.
