First, a hearty welcome to the forum.
Hope you'll find it a fun and friendly place! welcome01
Your revolver is a .32 Safety Hammerless, 2nd Model.
According to Supica and Nahas' 'SCS&W', the gun (in that variation) was manufactured between 1902 and 1909, with approximately 78,500 made.
I couldn't quite make out the pin for the front sight, but the nickel finish appears original.
Back in the day, the nickel break-tops were very popular, and many of the Safeties spent their lives in dresser or nightstand drawers.
Values for your model are listed as $ 300 in excellent condition,
to $ 450 in 'as new' shape.
The shorter barrels were most-common, but the 6" barrel is considered rare.
They're a really neat little gun.
Hope this is some help.
