I have been reloading .32 ACP. I now wanna load some .32 H&R Mag. and .327 Federal. I’m using Hodgdon Titegroup, and according to their reloading data,, the .32 ACP only shows a 71 gr. bullet (which I have). The load data for that is between 2.0-2.2 grains.
Regarding the .32 H&R and .327, the lightest bullet Hodgdon shows is 77 gr. (which I don’t have). The H&R load is 2.0-3.0 grains, while the .327 is 4.5-5.3 grains. (I know, I have to use separate dies for the ACP.)
My question: Can the H&R and .327 loads be tweaked so I can safely use the 71 gr. bullets, or do I need to find some 77 gr. bullets? Anyone have any ideas or experience with that? Thanx.
