Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! Your 1917 was made in May 1918. I agree with Kevin about valuation. The grips are not original but, frankly, the ones on it are better for shooting. Since this is a pre-WWII N frame, its grip is slightly longer than post war N frames. You might want to keep that in mind if you want to change grips. A good target grip or some rubber Hogues/Pachmayrs are a lot more comfortable on the range.
