    Have a "barn find" definitely a Chief but does not have a model number. Under the yolk is stamped 62987, cylinder side is stamped the same digits, with a random "9" and an "H3". The serial number on the butt is 125263.

    Hi, i have a chance to buy a SW Model 34-1 nickel plated revolver. It is a 22 caliber. The serial number is M190654 on the handle. Is there another serial number to match? When was the model made? Are these a hard item to aquire?

    Hello, how do I look up a serial number on my " new" used model 36-? Smith and Wesson? I'm told it's at least 20 years old but when you are 50 yourself, 20 isn't that old! Serial BPS7029 Can anyone figure out which model number this is?

    Hey I have an old s+w revovler my grandfather gave me. He is in bad health and not able to remember the info on it . It looks like a 4" barrell with 38 special CTG on the side of the barrel.
