    I just found a 99% pre 29 44 magnum with an 8 3/8 barrel nickel. According to the 4th edition of the standard catalog, it might be too good to be true. Any comments would be appreciated and fun while I am waiting for my Jinks letter. The serial number is S154xxx.

    My NIB model 34-1 kit gun finally came in yesterday with papers and toolkit. Not a mark from the cylinder lock. It's my first J-frame. I'd love to have a J-frame 38 eventually, but not sure what's next. From top to bottom: model 10-6, model 19-3, model 12-2 airweight, model 34-1.

    I acquired this model 59 a few years ago and just recently pulled it out of the safe. Serial number is A259xxx. From what I gather, this is 1974-76? I've read a few conflicting articles about whether the nickel was factory or other. Does anyone have an idea and could give me more info?
