    Hello, I just purchased a 38 Special Mod 36 that was going to be turned in at a police dept buy back...Got it for $100 I suspect its worth much more and I'm glad I saved it from a sure death. The Serial number starts with AEY39XX. It is in almost new condition...Any help dating would be awesome. :D

    I just bought this 38 spl. And i cant tell the difference between model 36 10 60 they all look so much alike the picture isn't much help sorry but i'm on a tablet which doesn't have a regular camera only it only has the camera used for skype which is a lot harder than you would think to estimate...

    I have inherited my Grandfather's pistol and have read a few posts concerning what type of ammo is safe. The serial number below the grip (bottom of frame) is 514558. The barrel says 38 S&W Special Ctg. Is this the the correct location for the serial number? Any info would be appreciated.
