    Date on older M41

Bought this M41 used in 1990 or 91and have been looking at online M41 databases for years. I know it was from the period where S&W slacked off on the finish, but still hand fitted internals, it shoots like a house afire, just not as pretty. That's cool, I bought it as a shooter, not a safe queen.

Anyway, the ser# is TEF60xx. I just can't find any TEF prefixes in the databases.

If anyone can get me into the ballpark of DOM, it would really be appreciated. I'm just barely in the parking lot of the ballpark.

    Thanks

Thank you so much! It's like shooting a laser pointer, it shoots where it's pointed, but not where I thought I was aiming. Certainly a "no excuses" pistol, especially with the SK made Wolf MT. Bad shots are always operator error.
