    17-4 year of manufacturing

    I just picked up this at the gun show.Was wandering how old it is serial number 21k4885 17-4 help?'k 22

    I show a 21K70xx that shipped 8/78. That was a Model 18-4. I also show a 17-3 (s/n 12K94xx) that shipped 9/77.

    I'm guessing yours shipped in 1978; but just a guess.
