That 41 is a looker and I’ll bet that it will shoot even better than it looks. It makes me long for the 5.5 inch model I let go for some unknown reason. I regretted letting it go and have thought of replacing it but current prices have made me put it off. I still have my S&W 17-2 and High Standard Citation Military which will have to fill the .22 needs for now. BTW, standard velocity ammo is the way to go. Aguila standard velocity is pretty good but it has an unusual odor. Norma Match .22 works well in most of my guns and if caught on sale is a good value short of the high priced target grade stuff.

Congrats. There is one at a LGS used. I wondered why someone traded it in. I always thought they were cool but other pistols keep getting in the way

Welcome to the forum! Very nice M41. Please post a range report after you take it out.

I recently purchased one. I wanted one for a long time. After a good cleaning I took it to the range. Very nice action. It complements my Hi STandard Victor very well You will love it

I have a 2003 model of the 41. I put a reflex red dot on it and it shoots fantastically well and loves a variety of GOOD 22LR (CCI SV, Geco, Federal Target and even Blazer). The 5.5" barrel balances very nicely. You will love it.

I have one problem with Model 41s......Once you shoot one the rest of your collection feels very neglected. I have several .22s including Hi Standard Supermatics, Rugers, Browning Buckmark, M 17, and several others. While some are close to the accuracy of my 41s, none beat them.

I recently spent the cash and bought a 41. It's beautiful, feels and shoots awesome! My eyes are degrading a bit and I'd like to mount a miniature red dot. The gun has the two sets of two screws on top of the barrel and I'm wondering if I need to get a pic mount or is there a way to keep it lower to the bore axis by mounting directly to the barrel. Here's a link https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/20...omment-4260706 to a photo I found but no idea how the dot was mounted. Any ideas?

to the forums from the Wiregrass! I can't help you with your sight issue. However, someone here probably can and will be along shortly.
