Those would look good freshened up a bit and placed on a satin nickel finished HP
A little memory help if you please.
Picked up these Hi-Power ( or I guess they could be FEG.)grips and they seem vaguely familiar but not sure. So checking to see if anyone remembers them on a specific model or year or something . I was gonna use them on a shooter grade gun or maybe strip and refinish but did not want to violate them if they had any significance .
Seems like standard wood but borders seem to be black lacquered and very hard an shinny . In fact the whole grip MAY have been lacquered and the checkering cut thru it ?
What cha think ?????
Factory grip ,,,some model or after market beater grip.
Where am I going ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and why am I in this handbasket ?

They remind me of some Inglis grip panels I’ve seen, but I am unsure if they made them in anything but plastic/Bakelite. Maybe German or some other European police? They aren’t from a “T” or “C” series.
If you can't be who you are, then you don't exist.
Looks like these but with black instead of brown finish
I have a set(pair) of genuine French Walnut (pricey)grip panels brand new, I never put them on my BHP.
They are dark Walnut. Different from most grips seen. I will have to find a picture of them

Original Browning Belgium grips were painted ( Stained ) RED inside. Second they were stamped on the inside about one inch from the bottom of the inside thicker part of the grip with the FN in an oval. Some had a hand written number inside the grip ( 2 digits or 3 ) showing the last two digits of the Serial number of the gun the grips came off of.
Your grips are not original and are probably FEG. of after market but not of Belgium manufacture...
