    SIG SAUER P238

Another trip to my LGS brought me face-to-face with this SIG P238.............Somehow over the last few years my stable shed all of it's .380's, so this week we started to correct the deficit. I find the .380 a fun caliber to plink with and it almost makes it on my list defensive cartridges. Modern advances in bullet engineering/design have apparently improved the stopping capabilities.

I think our Cochise County Bro is a fan of this particular offering.....

While at the Phoenix Gun Show I came upon some extra magazines (one extra round capacity) with finger extensions and an inexpensive fabric holster that will carry a short magazine and another extended mag.....

Looks like a great EDC gun to me. I like the 380 also for plinking and such but I do carry the S&W Bodyguard in 380 sometimes. You done good.

Bill, that looks like nice Sig. I have shot a 380 but have never owned one. Congrats on filling an empty stable.

Nice pick up. I like the feel of these pistols, but have stuck with the Sig 290RS I kinda inherited from my wife when she decided to use something different.

My only 380 is an LCP. Somehow I don't think they are quite as enjoyable to shoot at the range as one of those Sigs would be, but I shoot enough to be proficient

Sig's are excellent quality. I've never owned or shot a Sig 238 but am pretty fond of 938's (9mm version of same gun). Modern .380 ammo compares to the old round nose .38 special ammo, not great but better than a .25 auto & no where near the .38 special, .38 Spl.+P or 9mm. I do have a 238 magazine that somehow got mixed in w/ a 938 I bought, I'll give it to you @ the new gun show.

Everything that happens is either endurable or not. If it’s endurable, then endure it. Stop complaining. If it’s unendurable . . . then stop complaining. Your destruction will mean its end as well.
