    M&P Compact .40S&W

I picked up a M&Pc in .40S&W and sold my Glock 27. I was pleasantly surprised how much nicer the M&Pc shoots and feels compared to the Glock. There is a noticeable improvement over the 27. So now I'm thinking maybe the M&P Shield. Is there anyone around that has shot both the M&Pc .40S&W and the M&P Shield in .40S&W?

I'm really wondering if there is that much of an advantage in the Shield over the Compact?

    TIA
    Neil S.

i have both the m&p 40c and g27. i like the g27 just a tad over the m&p because of the weight and size.however they are both great guns in my book. i don't know anything about the shield except what i read and i think the shield would be kind of getting back closer to the g27 because of weight and size. also i just read recently that the shield 40 was having problems dropping the mag while shooting.

I have both the 40C and a Shield 40. The biggest difference is in the width of the shield. The grip length is about the same. The slide length is a tad shorter. Both are fine shooting guns.

I have both M&P9c and Shield 9mm. I prefer the Shield for concealed carry because it is thinner and more comfortable for IWB and it weighs less which is important when my bad back is acting up.
