    Question Mags for a S&W 639

I know that 39 and 639 mags will fit a 639 but they are pretty hard to find and if you do they are pretty expensive.
Will any of the mags from some of the modern single stack guns fit a 639 ?
    Thanks in advance, Jim

Smith & Wesson #190580000 is the currently produced magazine for the 639 but will stick out the bottom of the grip slightly.

I saw 39 magazines listed at Sarco for $26.

19&41 thanks for the help . The 26.00 mags were repos , probably pro mags, and only had 2 1/2 stars out of 4 stars review . I will keep looking for S&W factory mags because the pro mags get pretty bad reviews . Thanks again Jim

You might also try Ebay. They usually have a variety of mags to pick through.

Thanks for the suggestions , picked up one new in the package from S&W
I took the old gal out to the range last Friday and she shot 115 grain WW white box quite accurately, Remington 115 OK but not as good as the WW. Two different handloads with Berry 124 grain HP's a little better than the Remington's. 100% function no problems with even lighter 122 grain cast bullet hand loads. Nice old gun , glad I got another one. I will hang on to this one !!
